The Occasionall Group, through Occasionall Staff supports key part of the concerts with over 7,000 hours of expert staffing

The Brief

In summer 2024, The Occasionall Group was proud to support one of the most talked-about live music events of the decade: Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour. A global phenomenon that brought together millions of fans, the tour celebrated more than a decade of music and performance on a truly unforgettable scale.

Our role was focused and specific. We were brought in to manage the distribution of PixMob wristbands, which powered the synchronised light displays that turned each stadium into a sea of colour and helped fans become part of the show.

Our Contribution

Across the UK tour dates, our team delivered specialist support for this key part of the audience experience. We provided:

• Over 7,000 hours of on-site support

• More than 1,000 shifts across 4 major UK stadiums - Murrayfield in Edinburgh, Anfield in Liverpool, the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and Wembley Stadium in London

• A team of 300+ experienced staff, including Gate Captains, Event Assistants and Staffing Supervisors

• Distribution of more than one million PixMob wristbands

The distribution of the wristbands was critical to the visual identity of the tour and the overall fan experience. Our teams worked with precision and professionalism to ensure every attendee had their wristband before the lights went down.

Challenges and Successes

Delivering a smooth and efficient operation at this scale required careful planning, clear communication and attention to detail. Working across multiple cities and venues, our teams collaborated closely with on-site production and stadium staff to make sure the process ran as smoothly as possible.

From advance briefings and shift coordination to calm, confident troubleshooting on the day, we made sure the wristband experience added to the magic.
